About The Supplier Excellence Awards

Scotland Excel is at the forefront of public procurement for Scotland’s local authorities. Over the past eleven years, we have raised the profile of public procurement by championing its potential to support the sustainable delivery of public services across Scotland.
In 2015, we launched the first-ever awards programme dedicated to celebrating the critical role that suppliers play in public procurement. Since then, the Scotland Excel Supplier Awards programme has gone from strength to strength, and the award ceremony is now firmly established as a ‘must do’ biennial event in the public procurement calendar.
The awards are still the only programme of its kind delivered by the Scottish public sector to recognise suppliers. They give both SMEs and large organisations the invaluable opportunity to share their achievements across eight award categories and have them recognised by their peers and customers.
Ultimately, the Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards recognise the innovation and excellence of suppliers who go the extra mile to deliver tangible benefits to members of Scotland Excel and support the delivery of key public services.
The awards are open to all suppliers to Scotland Excel frameworks that were live as of 01 September 2019. Entries must relate to the supply of goods or services to Scotland Excel members through one of these frameworks between 01 September 2018 and 31 August 2019. For full Terms & Conditions see here.
The winners will be revealed at a prestigious award ceremony and dinner on 20 February 2020 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow.
